Hi, I’m Yvette.
The artist behind Beauty By Yvette.
My journey in beauty began in New York, where I attended the Aveda Institute and earned my cosmetology license. What started as a passion for hair and makeup soon opened the door to opportunities that would take my artistry far beyond the salon chair.
While working alongside designer Long Tran, I had the opportunity to bring my artistry to his catalog work in Italy, traveling through Milan, Varese, Monza, and Lake Como. It was there that I met designer Antonio Oliver, who connected with my work and invited me to join his Trip to Africa catalog project—another experience that expanded my perspective on beauty, fashion, and creative expression.
After several years of learning, traveling, and growing within the industry, I returned home to California and created Beauty By Yvette, offering personalized, on-location hair and makeup services. Since then, my career has continued to evolve across bridal, special events, television, media, and production, including opportunities to work with Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, production companies, and celebrity clientele.
Through every chapter, my philosophy has remained the same: beauty should never feel like becoming someone else. My approach is refined but never overdone, polished yet personal, and always centered around the individual in my chair.

Whether I’m preparing a bride for one of the most meaningful days of her life, creating a look for a special occasion, or working behind the scenes on a production, my approach remains the same: thoughtful artistry, attention to detail, professionalism, and an experience that feels personal from beginning to end.
